Jazz standards and Van Morrison originals Van Morrison seems to be more creative than ever in 2017: With "Versatile", the Northern Irish musician, singer and composer presents another new work less than three months after his last album "Roll With The Punches". This time Van Morrison combines jazz standards like "I Get A Kick Out Of You", "Makin' Whoopee", "Unchained Melody" and "A Foggy Day" with reworked versions of his own originals, including "I Forgot That Love Existed", "Only A Dream", "Take It Easy Baby" and "Start All Over Again". A highlight of the record is also a newly arranged version of the traditional Scottish folk song "Skye Boat Song." Furthermore, a brand new Van Morrison song is waiting on "Versatile", namely "Broken Record" Creativity has a name: Van Morrison. With "Versatile" comes in December 2017, the second album of the musician in three months. And it once again reveals his musical versatility.
