The success of the metal and post-hardcore band Atreyu from Southern California has been growing steadily. International interest has grown with each of their five studio albums, all of which have sold more than 200,000 copies. The last album "Congregation Of The Damned" was a stylistic highlight, with which Atreyu toured the world as headliners for the first time. Now it's done and the US Americans' sixth album is in the starting blocks. After touring for more than a year in 2009 and 2010, the members took a long break, during which they released several side projects. They got back together in the middle of last year to start work on the new album "Long Live". The album title perfectly describes the band's current mentality: "During the first time jamming, the first time back in the studio, and the first time on stage, it became very clear that this is something that will be in our lives forever. Our bodies and souls couldn't let us deny the history we'd built. The record speaks for who we are. It's the truth for the five of us."
