Vivaldi's work and teaching at the Pietà always focused on his instrument: the violin. It is therefore hardly surprising that the experimental Vivaldi also wrote concertos for several violins and orchestras. In addition to double concertos for two violins, his concertos also include one for three and even five concertos for four violins. A delicacy for Chiara Banchini and her master students, many of whom have meanwhile become well-known baroque violinists themselves. For Zig Zag Territoires they recorded these concerts with Banchini's Ensemble 415.
