Stile Antico, the acclaimed vocal ensemble, celebrates Josquin des Prez on the 500th anniversary of his death in 2021 with a new album, "The Golden Renaissance." The focus is probably the most famous mass setting of des Prez, the Missa Pange lingua. In addition to motets, the album also contains the world premiere recording of the recently discovered chanson Vivrai je tousjours. Plus rarely heard works by Contemporaries of Josquin des Prez, motets by Hieronymus Vinders and Jachet de Mantua Stile Antico is a 12-piece, multi-award winning and three-time Grammy nominated British vocal Vocal ensemble that is particularly dedicated to the great polyphonic works of the 16th and 17th centuries dedicated to them.
