At the tender age of 13 he covered favorite bands (Metallica, Eric Johnson etc), at 16 he discovered the music of three well-known acoustic guitarists Michael Hedges, Don Ross and Bill McLaughlin. The Canadian from Topeka has a unique fingerpickin' style and has won quite a few guitar competitions in the past.
