The English-language version of Ásgeir's debut is released worldwide under the title "In The Silence". The album was produced by Guðmundur Kristinn Jónsson (producer of Retro Stefson's "Kimbabwe," among others). He has ensured that the music on "In The Silence" remains entirely that of Ásgeir: lively, airy and light, yet with a melancholic undertone, and so electronic and organic Nordic folk elements become a cosmos that points far beyond both sound worlds.
