Boyz II Men followed up their extremely successful debut "Cooleyhighharmony" with the album "Christmas Interpretations". This is a pretty intelligent decision, because Christmas albums by established artists usually sell year after year, whereas pop albums usually only sell at the time of their popularity. This album of all-new Christmas material (written by the Boyz themselves) has certainly helped the Boyz expand their catalog. There are no renditions of Christmas classics on this album, with the exception of their a cappella version of "Silent Night" This album is a pure, lushly produced quiet storm that can be played at any time of year due to the lack of traditional favorites.
