But all the darkness and melancholy of its predecessors, Get Well Soon has now seemingly left behind, and instead discovered its confidence. "I hope that this band name has finally found its purpose: this album is about things getting better!" says Gropper. The reason was the Corona pandemic: "I realized with shock in the middle of Lockdown, when I was working a lot on my own, reading the news all the time: I'm an optimist!
