One hundred and fifty years had to pass before the musical ailment was comfortable enough to take note of the oeuvre of this Bohemian ore musician again. One of the happiest creations of classical chamber music is his carinette quartets, in which he does not have to shy away from comparison with the grandmasters of his time. A man who, although he belongs to the classics, points forward in his works to Romanticism
