35 years and not a bit tired. Even 35 years after the Yellowjackets' founding, the musicians show not only impressive longevity, but also continued artistic development. With the two founding members, pianist/keyboardist Russell Ferrante and drummer Will Kennedy, longtime saxophonist Bob Mintzer (since 1990) and new jacket electric bassist Dane Alderson, the Yellowjackets are developing a special kind of jazz fusion atmosphere. Cohearence is a multi-faceted documentary of how this fusion band has evolved.
