The melodic death metal pioneers and co-founders of the Gothenburg sound are back with their new album "Moment". The four years between this and the previous album "Atoma", not only left plenty of time for countless live shows, but also offered plenty of room for creativity and innovation. Also the two new additions on guitars, Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Johan Reinholdz (Nonexist), who were already part of the live band before, impress with their virtuoso playing and give the music of Dark Tranquillity a whole new note. Thus the Swedes once again break their own boundaries without losing their trademark sound and inspire with fast, aggressive songs like "Phantom Days", "Identical to None" and "Empires Lost to Time", while "The Dark Unbroken", "A Drawn Out Exit" and "In Truth Divided" come across dark and wonderfully melancholic. The album was recorded at Nacksving Studios and Rogue Music by Martin Brändström. The album was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios.
