Sonicwonderland is the title of the internationally acclaimed GRAMMY-winning pianist and composer's new album, which will be released in October 2023. Sonicwonderland represents a new musical adventure for the ever-changing pianist and composer, who is a star in her native Japan and conquered the music scene 20 years ago with her debut album. The album was recorded with a new quartet under the name Hiromi's Sonicwonder and includes nine new tracks full of synthesizers and deeper grooves. Hiromi shines on the keyboard with a balanced playing that is powerful, aggressive and delicate at the same time. Hiromi's Sonicwonder is a quartet featuring rising young talents Hadrien Feraud (bass), Gene Coye (drums) and Adam O'Farrill (trumpet), who performed live together for the first time this spring. Sonicwonderland was recorded May 25-28 at Skywalker Sound Stage in Nicasio, California, where Hiromi also recorded her upcoming 2019 solo piano album Spectrum.
