Originally released in 1997 as a limited edition three-CD set, Enya's "A Box of Dreams" has become a must-have collector's item among fans. twenty-five years later, "A Box of Dreams" gets a long-awaited reissue when it is released on vinyl for the first time in a beautifully designed, eco-friendly six-disc box set made from 100% recycled cardboard and vinyl. The set features highlights from the first half of Enya's career, from her self-titled debut album (later reissued and expanded as "The Celts") to the single "Only If..." just released and featured on her first "best of" "Paint The Sky With Stars." This box set features new liner notes by Roma and Nicky Ryan, including a series of short poems by Roma Ryan. A Box of Dreams originally contained three thematically arranged discs, now split into three double vinyl discs: "Oceans" presents the most uplifting moments from Enya's rich body of work, beginning with the No. 1 hit and instant classic "Orinoco Flow" and traveling through other hits (including "Anywhere Is," "Book of Days" and "Caribbean Blue") and fan favorites (such as "The Longships," "Ebudae" and "Pax Deorum"). "Clouds" features a selection of Enya's most beguiling instrumentals, as well as compositions where her voice adds atmospheric texture to the production, including the title tracks of "Watermark," "Shepherd Moons" and "The Memory of Trees." "Stars" features Enya's wonderful choral and meditative ballads, including the hit single "Evening Falls," the anthemic "Athair Ar Neamh" and the atmospheric, relatively undiscovered "Exile." In essence, the set offers a glimpse into the diversity of the inspirational compositions of the triumvirate: Enya, producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan.
