The visionary composer and pianist Dustin O'Halloran (musician of the duo A Winged Victory Of The Sullen) presents his new album on Deutsche Grammophon. Nature, consciousness, technology and the revolutionary consequences of artificial intelligence inspired him to write the music on 1 0 0 1. These are complex philosophical questions of a rapidly evolving reality for which this music opens up a space for reflection. Dustin O'Halloran has conceived his album as an immersive listening experience - to be experienced as a whole, just as one takes time to study a painting or a sculpture. The studio recording from RRO Studios in Reykjavík was accompanied on violin by Bryan Senti, a composer, long-time collaborator and friend of O'Halloran, an eight-part choir and the Budapest Art Orchestra, orchestrated by Roman Vinuesa. Paul Corley (Sigur Rós) is responsible for the electronic production. Francesco Donadello mixed the music.
