Six long years have passed since José González released his last studio album "Vestiges & Claws". In 2021, the Swedish singer-songwriter and Junip vocalist finally returns from the studio with his new, fourth solo album. Here's "Local Valley." According to González, the 13-song Patte resembles its predecessors in sound and spirit. The songs are short, melodic and rhythmic, a mixture of classic folk songwriting and influences from Latin America and Africa. How that sounds, he already revealed with the singles "El Invento", in which he sings in Spanish, and "Visions".
