In March 2023, the collective London Brew, produced by numerous existing artists, released their first, self-titled album. The album is inspired by the legendary Miles Davis album "Bitches Brew", one of the most legendary albums in jazz. Produced by Martin Terefe and Downtown Music UK Limited, "London Brew" reflects an emotional journey through time. It was recorded during the pandemic, after months of isolation. The three-day recording session took place in December 2020 at Church Studios in London and brought together 12 top-flight British jazz artists/musicians, including Nubya Garcia, Shabaka Hutchings, Theon Cross, Dave Okumu, Benji B, Tom Skinner and others. The group is known as London Brew. "Sometimes the music is uncomfortable," describes producer Martin Terefe, "sometimes it's familiar and joyful, and other times it's like a deep meditation."
