The album "Taking Turns", recorded in 2014, is a harmonious compilation of pieces based on collective improvisation, with a star line-up from the Balladeering Trilogy: Lee Konitz, Jakob Bro, Bill Frisell and Thomas Morgan, complemented by Jason Moran on piano and Andrew Cyrille on drums. "Taking Turns" is also the fourth and final album by Jakob Bro and Lee Konitz from Avatar Studios in New York and is dedicated to the musical kinship, the torch that is passed on from generation to generation.
