Metallica report back with a bang! The eight-time GRAMMY winners release their long-awaited 12th studio album titled "72 Seasons". The album features 12 brand new songs produced by James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and rock producer icon Greg Fidelman (U2, Slipknot, Johnny Cash, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more). The already released song "Lux Æterna" serves as a foretaste of the complete work. With 77 varied minutes, the album also offers every fan the opportunity to completely fall into the work. James Hetfield explains the title as follows: "72 Seasons - 72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives, in which our true or false self-image is shaped. The thought that it was our parents who told you 'who you are'. What pigeonholes might be possible and appropriate for the personality you have. What I find really exciting about this is how this examination of our own basic beliefs affects the light in which we perceive the world around us today. Because a lot of what we experience as adults is either a repetition of that or a reaction to those very childhood experiences. Prisoners of our own childhood - or liberation from the shackles we wear."
