Hip London tourists are familiar with it: the Total Refreshment Centre. For eight years it has been one of the most important music and cultural centers in London, numerous musicians and artists have used the space to meet, collaborate and create. From rehearsals to recordings, photo and video shoots to live performances, the TRC has been the hub for it. It has created a network of musicians, DJs, sound engineers, photographers, videographers, directors, lighting technicians, writers, poets, painters, journalists and promoters. Bands like Sons of Kemet, The Comet Is Coming, Neue Grafik, Snapped Ankles, Bo Ningen, Flamingods, Alabaster Deplume, Rozi Plain, Soccer 96, Vels Trio, Makaya Mcraven and many more have performed there. Now, for the first time, the album "Transmissions From Total Refreshment Centre" features some of the most important artists from around the creative melting pot, with a lively, eclectic mix of new jazz, hip hop, electro, dub, soul, funk.
