"Hey, hey, my, my” sang Neil Young, “rock & roll will never die”. And it was the guys - and a couple of feisty gals - represented here who wrote the rulebook. Today, over 60 years later, people still argue about what exactly rock & roll is. Some say that rock & roll - real rock & roll - went downhill in February 1959, when the plane carrying Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens crashed, killing all onboard, but nothing could kill the spirit, the sensation, the feel, the energy of that music.
